Artlandish Aboriginal Art Gallery: catalogue presentation with MOCKLIO

“MOCKLIO is not just a handy mock-up tool. It is a proper presentation tool for artists and galleries who want their work to look as good online as it deserves to look.”

The challenge: a large original catalogue, still shown as flat images

Artlandish Aboriginal Art Gallery works with a large catalogue of original artworks. Owner and founder Scott Linklater needed buyers to imagine how a piece would look in a real home or interior space. Static product photos mattered. They only went so far.

He had spent a lot of time looking for a genuinely high-quality way to create artwork mockups and video presentations for the catalogue. What he could not find was presentation that matched the work: not a quick mockup tool, a proper presentation tool for galleries.

The solution: upload the artwork, pick the room, skip the production team

MOCKLIO places the gallery’s own artwork image into photorealistic room interiors. The artwork itself is not rewritten or regenerated by AI. Scott’s workflow is the product in one line: you upload the artwork, choose the scene, and MOCKLIO does the heavy lifting.

The result looks like the kind of presentation a gallery would otherwise hire for: a photographer, videographer, editor, interior stylist, or 3D artist. No technical knowledge. No photography set-up. No videography. No editing software. No painful learning curve.

MOCKLIO handles the presentation: short video mockups for the website and social media (about 10 seconds), plus still room images and ready-to-post assets. Room booking, CRM, and inventory stay in the systems a gallery already uses. Many teams run both.

The result: catalogue video that looks like artwork in a real room

Scott’s published review is about quality, not a production diary. The video mockups do not look cheap, awkward, or template-driven. They make the artwork feel alive, polished, professional, and genuinely desirable.

Artlandish is using MOCKLIO to show artworks online, on social media, and in marketing campaigns—bridging a flat image on a screen and the artwork as a real piece in a real space.

Plans are sized for catalogue volume. The Gallery plan includes 50 videos a month with unlimited still images. Need more volume? Contact us at contact@mockl.io.

Scott Linklater’s full review

I have spent a lot of time looking for a genuinely high-quality way to create artwork mock-ups and video presentations for our catalogue, and MOCKLIO is easily the best I have found.

At Artlandish Aboriginal Art Gallery, we work with a large catalogue of original artworks, and presentation matters enormously. Buyers need to be able to imagine how a piece will look in a real home or interior space. Static product photos are important, but they only go so far. MOCKLIO takes that next step and makes the artwork feel alive, polished, professional and genuinely desirable.

What impressed me most is the quality. The video mock-ups are at a level above anything else I have come across. They do not look cheap, awkward or template-driven. They look very cool, like the kind of thing you would normally need a photographer, videographer, editor, interior stylist or 3D artist to create. With MOCKLIO, you can get that type of result without needing any of those skills.

That is the real magic of it. No technical knowledge. No photography set-up. No videography. No editing software. No painful learning curve. You upload the artwork, choose the scene, and MOCKLIO does the heavy lifting.

For an art gallery like us, that is a serious advantage. We are planning to use MOCKLIO to create many video mock-ups across our catalogue because it gives us a much better way to show artworks online, on social media, and in marketing campaigns. It helps bridge the gap between seeing a flat image on a screen and imagining the artwork as a real piece in a real space.

I have looked extensively for something that does this properly, and honestly, I have not found anything that comes close. MOCKLIO is not just a handy mock-up tool. It is a proper presentation tool for artists and galleries who want their work to look as good online as it deserves to look.

Highly recommended.

Key learnings for gallery directors

A large original catalogue loses impact online when buyers only see flat product photos. Remote buyers need to see the artwork in a real room—not another cropped image.

Do not hire a videographer for every catalogue artwork. Keep photographers for openings, installs, and people. Use MOCKLIO for repeatable room mockups and video presentations.

Inventory and CRM tools are not the same as presentation. Keep those systems. MOCKLIO wins when you need artwork mockups and video that show scale and setting. Running both is normal.

Batch creation—video, still room images, carousels, and captions—is how a marketing lead keeps up when the catalogue turns over.
